Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking an enthusiastic In Room Dining Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. You will deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences, balancing efficiency with the highest service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Based at our Mallorca property, you will understand the menu, prepare mise en place, take orders accurately, and ensure flawless presentation and guest satisfaction throughout service.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in in-room dining, food & beverage service, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is an advantage.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or similar is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Understand in-room dining menu and explain it to guests when required.
• Prepare mise en place for each shift including trays, condiments and service equipment.
• Take and deliver guest orders accurately and politely.
• Provide friendly, efficient and attentive service, anticipating guest needs.
• Assist in processing payments, including MOHG Gift Cards.
• Ensure dishes are delivered in line with hotel standards and in good condition.
• Maintain in-room dining equipment and utensils; perform cleaning duties.
• Assist in collecting and arranging stock for in-room dining (linen, beverages, items).
• Keep product knowledge up to date and inform management of guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Support colleagues and other outlets to ensure a smooth service.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the IRD Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for performing all operational tasks and duties related to in-room dining service under the guidance of the respective managers and supervisors. Your primary objective is to ensure that all food and beverage orders are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with Mandarin Oriental service standards, while creating a memorable and satisfying experience for every guest.

As IRD Waiter/Waitress, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Have a good understanding of the in-room dining menu and beverage offerings and be able to clearly explain them to guests if required.
• Ensure all mise en place is prepared for each shift, including organizing trays, condiments, and in-room service equipment, to provide efficient and timely service.
• Accurately take and deliver guest orders following the hotel’s standards and in a courteous and professional manner.
• Carry out all tasks in a friendly, efficient, and attentive way, anticipating guest needs.
• Assist in processing payments, including MOHG Gift Cards and other non-cash methods.
• Ensure all dishes are delivered and presented in compliance with hotel standards and in perfect condition.
• Maintain all in-room dining equipment and utensils in good condition, performing daily care and cleaning duties.
• Assist in collecting and arranging stock required for in-room dining, including linen, beverages, and other items.
• Keep product knowledge up to date and inform management or kitchen colleagues of any special guest preferences or dietary restrictions.
• Support colleagues and other outlets if required, ensuring a smooth and seamless service experience.

As IRD Waiter/Waitress, weexpect you:

Experience and education

• Previous experience in in-room dining, food & beverage service, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
