Job summary

Octave is seeking an Implementation Consultant – Engineering Information Management to translate customer requirements into effective Octave InConcert solutions. You will work with solution architects, technical leads, partners and product teams, gaining hands-on client exposure across EPC and asset-heavy industries.

You’ll deliver designs, tests and deployments, and coach teams on best practices. You’ll travel across Europe as needed, collaborating with engineers, presales and customers to

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering enterprise software, engineering data or information management projects.
• Hands-on experience configuring systems or mapping and migrating data.
• Confidence with customers, from workshops with engineers to status meetings with project managers.
• A structured way of working that holds up when you're juggling several tasks.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel across Europe, with frequency depending on your project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test and deliver Octave solutions that meet customer requirements on quality, time and budget.
• Shape the detailed solution design with your technical lead and write parts of the functional design specification.
• Support presales by explaining what an implementation involves and estimating the effort it takes.
• Coordinate day-to-day technical work across your project team, including partners and system integrators.
• Spot customer solutions that could work for everyone and bring them to our product owners.
• Keep up with every product release and pass on what you learn through coaching and knowledge transfer.
