DayOne is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Design Manager to lead the mechanical design across Europe, ensuring reliable, efficient, and scalable systems for mission-critical data centers. You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to deliver compliant designs that meet industry standards and sustainability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred), 8–10 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of data center mechanical systems and HVAC.
• Experience with cooling infrastructure and airflow management.
• Good command of English for technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design for data center projects across Europe.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and related systems.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, architectural, civil, and other teams.
• Provide technical leadership ensuring reliable, scalable designs.
• Review drawings, specs, calculations, and equipment schedules for quality.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and sustainability targets.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
• Identify risks and support design, commissioning, and handover.
