Quaker Houghton is seeking an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Global Trade Compliance team. The role offers flexible location within Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany or France and involves driving compliance improvements across Europe.

You will advise on customs and export controls, maintain ERP data, and partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service and Legal to embed risk-based processes. English fluency required, additional European languages a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in customs, international trade or trade compliance in a multinational.
• Strong experience with European customs regulations and EU cross-border trade.
• Brexit-related origin, procedures and UK-EU trade requirements experience.
• Proven ability to assess and resolve moderately complex trade matters.
• Experience partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide guidance on customs, import/export and trade compliance across the business.
• Lead initiatives to modernize trade compliance processes and controls.
• Act as SME on European customs regulations and post-Brexit requirements.
• Maintain trade data including tariff classifications and origin information in ERP.
• Support FTAs analyses, supplier declarations and origin determinations.
• Collaborate with brokers, suppliers, customers and authorities for compliant cross-border trade.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into practical solutions.
• Analyze data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Embed trade compliance into business processes with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to regional/global trade compliance projects and harmonization.
