Offer Description

A COMPETITION IS OPENED FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A RESEARCH SUPPORT TECHNICIAN FOR THE FIELD OF RESEARCH FOR THE RESEARCH LINE OF RESEARCH "Molecular characterization of the mechanisms involved in cancer, aging, and rare diseases. Search for therapeutic targets and treatments through drug repositioning or development of advanced therapies."

Development of molecular biology techniques : RNA / DNA extraction from biological samples, cDNA cloning, primer design, gene editing (CRISPR / Cas9) for the generation of in vitro (cellular) and in vivo (animal) models, PCR, Q-PCR. Design of strategies for generating models (inducible, by homologous recombination, etc.). Image capture and analysis using stereoscopic and confocal microscopes. Design and implementation of in vivo assays in zebrafish larvae. Design and implementation of compound library screenings for the search for drugs for diseases. Management of software and databases for sequence comparisons, expression studies, or genomic variants.

Specific Requirements

University Degree in Sciences (MECES Level 2 : Bachelor's Degree). or University Degree in Health Sciences (MECES Level 3 : Master's Degree) or (The academic qualification will be accredited by providing the official Degree or a certificate issued by the University, stating that the fees for issuing the degree have been paid and that it is being processed, or a signed, valid provisional supplementary certificate (proof of payment of the fee for issuing the official Degree is not valid). If you hold a foreign academic degree, you must have the corresponding credential of homologation to the equivalent degree in Spain, issued by the competent body for the recognition of foreign educational degrees and qualifications).

Work experience in generating a zebrafish model for rare diseases, by gene inactivation (CRISPR-Cas9) or by transgenesis. (Work experience, whether full-time or proportional to shorter periods, will only be assessed if it is accredited : 1. By an employment or commercial contract stating the tasks performed. If these tasks are not listed in the contract, a certificate from the entity itself detailing them must be provided along with the contract, 2. By a certificate from the contracting entity stating the name of the person hired, job position, duration of the contract, working hours and tasks performed.) In all cases, employment history must be provided.

Training for the performance of functions B and C established in article 3.2 of Order ECC / 566 / 2015, of March 20, which establishes the training requirements that must be met by personnel who handle animals used, bred or supplied for experimental and other scientific purposes.

Salary information Remuneration :

The selected candidate will receive a gross annual salary of €24.207,96 (gross monthly salary of €2.017,33, including bonuses) or a proportional portion for shorter periods. The gross salary will be deducted monthly from the worker's Social Security contribution, as well as the personal income tax that the employee is legally entitled to under current regulations.
