Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas, a leading international engineering and construction company, invites applications for the IMA & Digitalization Coordinator role in Madrid. You will own the IMA platform, manage master data, support users, and drive data quality and digital improvements across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in corporate applications in Oil & Gas or EPC, strong English, and proven training and stakeholder-management skills. A hybrid work model and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as Systems/Software/Business Applications Specialist.
• Experience administering, supporting or improving digital tools in oil & gas/ EPC environments.
• Experience delivering training and user guidance for internal and external audiences.
• Strong knowledge of incident management, requirements, testing and improvements.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional owner for IMA within the Inspection Department.
• Maintain inspector, agency and master data in IMA with accuracy.
• Lead day-to-day support, incidents and requests for users.
• Monitor data quality, usage, storage and performance.
• Support KPI reporting and data-driven decision making.
• Translate needs into functional requirements and drive improvements.
• Promote interoperability with SAP, SMat and Documentum and other platforms.
• Design and deliver training and user guidance for staff and partners.
• Drive user adoption and continuous improvement across projects.

We are looking for an IMA & DIGITALIZATION COORDINATOR:

Main responsibilities

• Act as the functional owner and primary point of contact for Inspection Management Application (IMA) within the Inspection Department, developing an in-depth understanding of the platform and its business processes.
• Administer and maintain inspector, agency and related master data in IMA, ensuring that records, qualifications, certifications, experience and training information remains accurate and up to date.
• Lead the day-to-day support to internal and external users, manage incidents and requests, coordinate their resolution and promote consistent and correct use of the platform.
• Monitor data quality, system usage, storage and performance, and implement solutions that improve reliability, efficiency and scalability.
• Support KPI measurement, reporting and corporate decision-making by enabling effective use of the data available in IMA.
• Gather, assess and prioritize improvement needs from Corporate Inspection, project teams and other stakeholders, translating them into functional requirements.
• Promote interoperability between IMA and other corporate systems, including SmartPlant Materials, SAP and Documentum, as well as future digital platforms.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate activities and improve inspection processes through digital solutions.
• Design and deliver training, demonstrations and user guidance for employees, inspection agencies, inspectors, clients and joint-venture partners, both remotely and in person.
• Drive user adoption and continuous improvement to maximize the platform's operability through Técnicas Reunidas projects.

Required profile and experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a Systems, Software or Business Applications Specialist, supporting, administering or implementing corporate applications in the Oil & Gas, EPC or industrial engineering sector.
• Experience administering, supporting or improving digital tools in industrial, engineering, procurement, quality or inspection environments.
• Experience delivering training and preparing user guidance for internal and external audiences.
• Strong knowledge of corporate business applications, application administration and user-support processes.
• Experience with integrated systems, interfaces, master-data management and data-quality control.
• Knowledge of incident management, functional requirements definition, user acceptance testing and implementation of system improvements.
• Experience with SmartPlant Materials (SMat), SAP and Documentum, or comparable corporate platforms, would be highly valued.
• Familiarity with KPI reporting, data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of process automation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications would be valued.
• Knowledge of inspection workflows, ITPs, inspection planning, vendor surveillance, non-conformity management or related quality processes would be considered an asset but is not required.
• Advanced level of English.
