Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas in Bilbao seeks Project Engineers for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or energy projects. You will coordinate disciplines to meet schedule and budget, and participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and licensors.

The role requires leadership, proactive attitude and solid scheduling knowledge. English at C1 and proficiency in Navisworks/MS Office are required. The company offers a hybrid model with two remote days weekly and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or energy sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdisciplinary activities to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Promote and coordinate resolution of technical problems.
• Participate in client/supplier/licensor meetings (HAZOP, P&ID, 3D Model Review) and close actions.
• Coordinate documents from disciplines to cover defined scope.
• Review requisitions and support procurement through delivery and testing.
• Identify changes and process change orders with client.
• Provide support to Construction as needed.

POWER - Project Engineer (Bilbao)

We are looking for Project Engineers for our office in Bilbao with previous experience in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizers or Energy sector projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Interdisciplinary coordination is required aimed at achieving within the scheduled time and established cost, the quality of the work and deliverables according to the contractual requirements.
• Promote and coordinate the resolution of technical problems and propose solutions to Project Management.
• Participation in meetings at a technical level with representatives of the Client, suppliers and/or Licensors, fundamentally HAZOP, P&ID, 3D Model Review, etc. and coordinate the closing of actions.
• Coordinate the documents to be issued by the disciplines (specifications, plans, requisitions, etc.) necessary to cover the defined scope.
• Review the requisitions from Bid requests to requisition to Purchase, the technical tabulations and technical recommendations for the award of equipment and materials. Carry out the complete tracking of purchases until delivery on site and tests.
• Identify the changes for their correct control and follow-up and their consideration of potential change orders, for their correct processing with the client.
• Provide support to the extent necessary to Construction.
