Job summary

Responsibilities

• Define and develop Technical Documentation WorkPackages in line with project planning.
• Create the Technical Publications Plan outlining deliverables and sources.
• Implement the approach from the Technical Publication Plan.
• Research necessary content through system analysis and stakeholder dialogue.
• Prepare data from LSA and verify content on customer systems.
• Ensure technical and formal correctness and QA compliance.
• Handle common documentation standards (S1000D, ISO).
• Drive continuous improvement and identify savings opportunities.
• Manage budget and schedule within mandate scope.
• Record technical relationships and manage subcontractors for work packages.

Job description

Introduction

In the frame of our strongly growing Systems business, the delivery of Integrated Logistic Support is of great importance. At the same time, the Projects complexity and workload is continuously growing.

For these reasons, in order to secure the contractual commitments with our customers on the current and future development Programs, it is of paramount importance to increase the capacity of the ILS technical team in R&S strategic Programs. The position is based in Madrid office.

This new resource will allow to:

• Provide the local Spanish team with ILS technical expertise (Technical Documentation analysis and production) for various strategic Company Programs currently under development.
• Increase the overall ILS production capability with expertise and structured specific knowledge.
• Provide a direct connection with Engineering teams, thus best quality ILS documentation, in compliance with contractual requirements.

Tasks

• Define and develop Technical Documentation WorkPackages, in compliance with overall Project Planning
• Creation of the Technical Publications Plan to define the expected outcome of the later deliverable, as well as defining the required information sources and describing the quality assurance.
• Implementation of the approach outlined in the Technical Publication Plan.
• Research of necessary content on the system, as well as through dialogue with technical contacts.
• Preparation and implementation of the data obtained through LSA (Logistics Support Analysis).
• Verification of the described content on the customer's system, as well as checking the plausibility
• Ensuring quality assurance in terms of technical and formal correctness.
• Safe handling of common documentation standards (S1000D, ISO standards, etc.).
• Continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, as well as identifying potential savings.
• Budget and schedule responsibility within the scope of the mandate.
• Recording of comprehensive technical relationships within the scope of his/her activities
• Manage Technical Publications subcontractors in terms of work packages planning and preparation, cost follow-up and quality checks of the deliverables
