GEA Germany GmbH is seeking an experienced IIoT Engineer to design, implement, and support digital solutions that connect food and beverage equipment to cloud-based analytics platforms. You will work with Siemens and Rockwell ecosystems and help standardize architectures across edge, gateway, and cloud layers.

The role requires 5+ years in Industrial Automation and cloud engineering, proficiency with Azure, InfluxDB, and Databricks, and strong cybersecurity awareness.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Automation Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Cloud Engineering, or Digital Solutions.
• Experience delivering cloud-based software products using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with InfluxDB and Databricks for time-series data management and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI in process/manufacturing environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage processes and IEC 62443 cybersecurity principles.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and support IIoT solutions connecting equipment to cloud-based platforms.
• Develop digital applications for monitoring, asset performance, predictive maintenance, energy management, and production analytics.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers to define technical requirements.
• Implement edge-to-cloud connectivity for real-time data collection and monitoring.
• Drive standardization of digital architectures and integration frameworks.
