Job summary

Siemens Energy in Spain is seeking a Software Architect OT to shape the Industrial Digital Foundation and Software-Defined Automation architecture for DPS. You will define reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps for OT, edge, data, and AI across multiple portfolios.

You will lead architecture governance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with global teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions. Fluency in English is required, and experience in critical infrastructure is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in industrial automation and software for critical infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and condition-monitoring environments.
• Experience with OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, IEC 61850.
• Fluency in English; preferred experience in power generation or grids.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and govern guardrails across OT and IT.
• Define architectures for OT, edge, and automation across DPS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption across products and platforms.
