Job summary

IFF Benicarló, S.L. seeks a Global Manufacturing Data & OT Engineer - Scent to strengthen the industrial data foundation across its global manufacturing network.

You will bridge shop-floor systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring reliable, contextualized data for analytics and digital transformation initiatives. You will connect and integrate data from PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES, and historian systems, support AVEVA PI environments, and apply ISA-88/ISA-95 principles to structure data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, industrial data, historian, MES, or IT/OT integration environments.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES, and process historians.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI or similar historian platforms.
• Knowledge of ISA-88, ISA-95, industrial data integration, and manufacturing data models.
• Experience with SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
• Understanding of OPC, APIs, and database integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Bridge shop-floor systems and enterprise platforms to ensure reliable, contextualized manufacturing data.
• Support and enhance AVEVA PI environments, data collection, asset frameworks, interfaces, analytics, and context.
• Apply ISA-88 and ISA-95 principles to structure equipment, process, batch, and production data.
• Monitor data flows, troubleshoot data quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions across cross-functional teams.
