IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is the result of a partnership between “La Paz” University Hospital, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Public Service of the Madrid Autonomous Region and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of La Paz UH, which is the managing body of the Institute. This strategic alliance has made it possible to tackle research projects through joint multidisciplinary teams, making the most of the human and material resources available to these entities for research and promoting research fundraising. Our vision is to be a national and international reference for biomedical translational research of excellence, focus on people’s health.

The present offer is hosted by the Clinical and Invasive Cardiology Research Group, which look for a Specialised Cardiologist in atto be integrated in the conduction of a pilot study on atrial fibrillation ablation within the EHRA-PATHS Research Project.

Skills / Qualifications

Experience in research (referenced by participation in publications) and super-specialist clinical care (>

3 years) of atrial fibrillation patients.

Specific Requirements

Cardiologist specialist (EU recognised title) with at least 3 years of specific training following Cardiology education on Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology. At least 3 years dedicated to Arrhythmology and Invasive Electrophysiology

Languages SPANISH Level Mother Tongue

Additional Information

  • Term : Undefined
  • Gross annual salary : 14.859,10 €
  • Part time of 20 hours per week.
  • Private matters : 6 working days per year.
  • Vacation : 22 working days per year.
  • December 24 and 31 are non-business days.

Eligibility criteria

The selection process will consist of two phases and the following scale will be applied, out of a maximum of 10 points :

  • Training and curricular merits : 6 points.
  • Personal interview : 4 points

In the event that two or more candidates match the values and needs of the institution and meet the conditions required for the post, and where there is a tie, the candidate with a certificate attesting to a minimum degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 per cent shall prevail.

Selection process

Once candidates send their application to the IdiPAZ email address, their applications are stored until the deadline for receipt of applications for the offer is up. The HR department of IdiPAZ will make a first selection of applications selecting those who meet the criteria required in the offer.
