Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona seeks a Research Support Specialist Technician to assist with the ERC Consolidator project HEU-101088071-READ. The role focuses on management, processing and analysis of biogeochemical samples using ICP-MS and MC-ICP-MS within a research-driven environment.
Minimum education includes FP2 or equivalent; higher degrees in geology/archaeology or bioarchaeology are assets. Proficiency in Isodat 2.0 and basic data software is expected, with emphasis on quality
Qualifications
- Education and training as listed in the job offer.
- Skills in geochemical sample handling and lab work.
- Experience with ICP-MS/MC-ICP-MS is desirable but not mandatory.
Responsabilités
- Carry out management, processing and analysis of biogeochemical samples using ICP-MS and MC-ICP-MS.
- Assist in development and validation of laboratory protocols and quality control.
- Prepare samples and maintain clean-room conditions for isotopic analyses.
- Support data processing, visualization and reporting of results.
