The IISPV is an institution that integrates research in the field of biomedicine in the
“Camp de Tarragona” and the “Terres de l’Ebre”, in order to manage biomedical
research and innovation in the territory.
The job position is linked to the international research project: The Route2Spain project is a multicenter study that evaluates the efficacy of the UpHill® digital platform to improve the control of severe asthma through technology-assisted monitoring. The main objective is to increase symptom control and quality of life in patients with severe or difficult-to-control asthma, reducing exacerbations and hospitalizations. The research is being carried out in three Spanish university hospitals and includes 150 patients.
Monitoring is done through monthly questionnaires and digital tools that allow personalized risk stratification. The project is committed to the integration of technology in the healthcare of chronic patients. The assistant will provide support in
data management, patient monitoring and coordination with the research team. The Route2Spain project has received co-funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health and the European Union under Grant Agreement 250028.
