At Goodyear Iberia, we want to expand our team. We are specifically looking for a person who wants to grow with us, adding value within the Total Mobility department as a Fleet Services Technician.

Primary Purpose of the Position

Goodyear Total Mobility: Communicate, support, and coordinate our quality service provided by Goodyear's Service Providers for Goodyear contracted fleets. Reporting on mileage analysis while bearing the responsibility for approving the work of Service Providers, with emphasis on cost-effectiveness and appropriate service levels.

Principal duties and responsibilities
  1. Tire management, control, and monitoring all the tires to ensure proper usage (reuse where relevant).
  2. Establishing guidelines and service policies to achieve optimal mileage performance.
  3. Working with Service Providers to ensure high-quality service through effective communication, improvement plans, and technological applications.
  4. Coordinating with fleet points of contact to provide quality service.
  5. Auditing, controlling, monitoring, and analyzing tire maintenance services.
  6. Registering and promoting the shipment and monitoring of demounted tires for recycling and retread via the e-Casing application.
  7. Promoting the use and training of our mobility solutions, following up, and analyzing data to optimize profitability.
  8. Proactively using reporting tools to review services and develop improvement plans.
Requirements
  • Medium-grade vocational training or similar.
  • Post-Sale Service experience for truck and fleet tires (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the tire transport industry (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (preferably advanced), Internet, and Apps.
  • Remote position based in Northern Portugal with 70% travel availability.
  • Flexibility, communication, analytical skills, and an agile approach to daily activities.
  • English language skills highly valued.
