NTT is seeking an experienced IBM z/OS Mainframe Network Engineer to maintain and secure a large-scale z/OS mainframe network platform in a Barcelona-based environment. You will join a multi-functional team handling critical configuration, incident resolution, and 24x7 on-call support to ensure reliable connectivity and data/IP security for host subsystems and product suites.

• Experience as a z/OS Systems Specialist in IT.
• Knowledge of z/OS networking services and VTAM.
• Familiar with IPSec/TLS and certificates management.
• Experience in on-call support and incident resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain the integrity and data/IP security of the Mainframe host communication subsystems and associated products.
• Support IBM mainframe networks and transmission products and infrastructure as part of a multi‑functional team.
• Participate in 24x7 on‑call support rota.
• Perform TCPIP Port Reserves (Additions, Deletions, Changes).
• Perform VTAM updates (Additions, Deletions, Changes) and PU/LU updates including Enterprise Extenders.
• Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment.
• Implement AT‑TLS rules (digital certificate management).
• Configure and manage IPSEC policies (permit/deny rules, VPN/IPsec tunnels).
• Trace, debug and perform error analysis.
• Communicate with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure network connectivity and security (including after hours).
• Experience administering file transmission products such as Connect:Direct and FTP (or as a user).
• Knowledge of z/OS and z/OS utilities.
• Understanding of z/OS networking services, structure and related software and protocols.
• Understanding of network security disciplines (IPSec, TLS/SSL, certificates) and their relation to file transmission.
• Experience with problem management from diagnosis to resolution.
• Understanding of Change Management processes.
• Ability to customize/manage secure SNA and TCP/IP networks under z/OS.
• Knowledge of mainframe network management tools (NetMaster) and multi‑session products (TUBES, Supersession).
• Experience managing mainframe printing products.
• Knowledge of System z hardware including OSA-Express network cards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with Cisco Network Solutions
• Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

In this role you will maintain and secure a large‑scale z/OS mainframe network platform. You will join a multi‑functional team focused on IBM mainframe networking, ensuring reliable connectivity and data/IP security for host subsystems and product suites.
