Job Title: Senior Marketing Leader - Spain

We’re seeking a passionate marketing leader in Valencia to elevate our brand. In this role, you will oversee all digital marketing efforts, including managing our website, blog, and social media channels to amplify our story. You will also design, develop, measure, and control advertising campaigns, focusing on direct customer acquisition.

This position is responsible for leading marketing for the Octopus Energy retail business in Spain. Key details include:

• In-house creative team management, including designers, UX specialists, writers, and front-end developers.
• Direct media buying and campaign management.
• A customer-centric approach, emphasizing great experiences and storytelling.

We value individuals who understand the human aspect of branding, can work effectively both independently and within a team, and are passionate about delivering meaningful, sustainable impact rather than traditional commercial products.

The role reports to the CEO of Spain and is based entirely in Valencia.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and measure ROI and KPIs for marketing campaigns
• Oversee social media presence
• Collaborate on website design, messaging, and conversion strategies
• Develop online content strategies for the blog
• Coordinate with our London HQ marketing team
• Train and lead the local marketing team
• Maintain and grow the brand identity in Spain
