AIG is seeking a Head of Financial Lines for Iberia, based in Madrid. Lead strategic underwriting initiatives, build high-performing teams across Cyber, FI, MLC and PICom, and own P&L for Financial Lines Iberia.

The role requires close collaboration with Head of EMEA and the Iberia GM to align underwriting with sales, claims, actuarial and finance functions, delivering profitable growth and a strong market presence.

Formación

• Extensive experience leading Financial Lines underwriting in Iberia.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Finance.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese knowledge will be considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develops/monitors/manages Financial Lines underwriting strategy in the Iberia region.
• Leads high performing Cyber/FI/MLC/PICom underwriting teams.
• Owns P&L; budget and forecast for Financial Lines Iberia.
• Collaborates with Head of EMEA and country GM on day-to-day FL operations.
• Ensures alignment among underwriting staff with Sales, Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Finance.
• Manages profitable growing portfolio and go-to-market strategy.
• Allocates resources with country GM and EMEA/International FL functions.
• Manages key broker and client relationships in Iberia.
• Leads product development and adapts existing products.
• Executes reinsurance strategy with European/International functions.
• Represents FL in senior management committees.
• Thought leader; conducts seminars and participates in media.
• Escalation contact for brokers and clients.
• Technical referral point for UW.
• Oversees succession planning and performance management within FL Iberia.
