We are looking for Consultants / Senior Consultants to join our Power and Low Carbon Solutions advisory practice in Madrid.

You will be joining our dynamic and growing Power and Low Carbon Solutions practice. We work with Corporates, Private Equity, Developers and Infrastructure clients in projects ranging from market-entry strategies to supporting investors find the best opportunities in the energy transition. What you will be doing

We bring our clients an unparalleled combination of energy market expertise, strategy & transaction and commercial insight. You will be an integral part of an exciting team located in Madrid, but with colleagues in multiple geographies, and will be working at the forefront of the energy sector alongside market specialists with deep industry knowledge. You will be able to deploy and then broaden your skillset and sector expertise as a Management Consultant / Senior Consultant with in-depth expertise in the Energy Sector:

• Providing market, commercial and strategic consulting advice to utilities, IPPs, developers, energy companies, financial institutions, and investors focused on the Iberian energy market.
• Supporting corporate and private equity clients with market entry strategy / analysis, identifying investment themes and potential targets, as well as supporting commercial due diligences.
• Performing detailed quantitative analysis on revenue perspectives across the different energy markets for renewable assets in the context of valuations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Work as part of a multi-cultural team located across different geographies, helping to manage and enhance existing client relationships, and develop new ones.
• Adjusted to your grade / experience, supporting business development prospects, from building our brand presence and engaging with key clients in Iberia to identify / originate consulting opportunities and writing proposals.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for candidates with experience in the Iberian energy market and, more broadly, the Clean Infrastructure space (e.g. BESS, e-fuels, biomethane, Data Centers, etc.) to join our industry-leading Advisory Team. The ideal candidates will be versed in some of the following areas, ideally through previous experience as Management Consultants or part of Strategy & Markets / Commercial origination teams in utilities / traders in the Iberian market:

• A key interest in the Energy sector and awareness of key players, market dynamics and drivers, regulation and policy in Iberia.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop hypotheses and reach conclusions in tight timeframes.
• Great written and verbal communication skills, and experience building lasting working relationships with clients.
• Experience in assessing value creation across the asset life cycle on renewable and clean infrastructure assets.
• Experience in commercial structures, assessing routes to market for power generation assets, and designing business models in energy markets.
• Experience in power market fundamentals and in assessing value across one or multiple asset types in the power generation sector, from renewables to gas to storage assets.
• The ability to take ownership and deliver results in client-facing environments.
• Flexibility and ability to shuffle different priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Essential: Fluency in Spanish and English; and additional languages would be a plus.
