European International School of Barcelona is seeking a passionate Math and Science Teacher for our Secondary team to inspire students and advance their learning in mathematics and science. The role emphasizes engaging instruction, curriculum development, and collaboration with families and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mathematics or related fields, with IB experience preferred, strong communication, and a commitment to inclusive education in a multicultural setting near

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• English home language; Spanish & Catalan desirable.
• Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to Secondary students (ESO, National Baccalaureate & IB).
• Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school administration to support student development and school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.
