European International School of Barcelona is seeking a passionate Math and Science Teacher for our Secondary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Science, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in similar positions.
• IB program experience is highly desirable.
• English home language; Spanish & Catalan desirable.
• Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively.
• Valid work permit to work in Spain.
• Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to Secondary students (ESO, National Baccalaureate & IB).
• Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and best practices.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.

European International School of Barcelona is looking for a passionate and dedicated Math and Science Teacher to join our Secondary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

We are located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, just 15km from the centre of Barcelona. EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully-equipped kitchen.

• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly desirable.

• English home language.
• Spanish & Catalan language are desirable.
• A valid work permit to work in Spain.
• Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.
