HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a highly experienced IAM Technical Lead with deep expertise in One Identity Manager (Onie) to drive IAM transformation, NPA governance, entitlement remediation, and role governance initiatives. The consultant will bridge business stakeholders and development teams, guiding solution design and providing hands-on guidance.

You will lead One Identity Manager leadership, design target-state IAM solutions, review processes, mentor teams, and conduct design reviews.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with One Identity Manager (Onie), versions 8.x/9.x preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Identity Lifecycle Management, RBAC design, access governance, and approval workflows.
• Experience leading One Identity Manager implementation or upgrade projects.
• Experience with data cleansing, entitlement mapping, and joiner-mixer-leaver processes.
• Ability to design target-state IAM architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a global, cross-functional environment.

• Perform hands-on validation in One Identity Manager environments and run SQL queries for troubleshooting.

We are seeking a highly experienced IAM Technical Lead with deep expertise in One Identity Manager (Onie) to lead IAM transformation, NPA governance, entitlement remediation, and role governance initiatives. The consultant will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, driving solution design, validating technical implementations, and providing hands-on guidance across One Identity Manager environments.

Key Responsibilities:

One Identity Manager Leadership

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead for One Identity Manager.
• Define and architect target-state IAM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Review and optimize existing IAM processes, workflows, and configurations.
• Guide and mentor development teams on configuration, customization, and implementation best practices.
• Conduct design reviews and validate technical solutions.

NPA Governance & Remediation

• Lead the discovery and remediation of orphaned Non-Personal Accounts (NPAs).
• Establish ownership, accountability, and lifecycle controls for NPAs.
• Design and implement monitoring, certification, and recertification processes.
• Develop scalable NPA governance frameworks.

Entitlement & Data Cleansing

• Lead entitlement rationalization and cleanup initiatives.
• Identify orphaned entitlements and excessive access rights.
• Drive access remediation programs and define sustainable governance controls.

Business Roles & Access Governance

• Design and optimize Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
• Develop birthright access strategies and access request/approval models.
• Support role mining and entitlement mapping activities.

Soda & Compliance

• Analyze Segregation of Duties (Soda) risks and define related controls.
• Align IAM controls with audit and compliance requirements.
• Support certification and access review programs.

Technical Validation

• Perform hands-on validation within One Identity Manager environments.
• Execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data verification.
• Investigate synchronization, provisioning, and governance issues.
• Review synchronization jobs, workflows, and connector configurations.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with One Identity Manager (Onie); experience with versions 8.x and/or 9.x preferred.

Strong proficiency in:

• Identity Lifecycle Management

• Advanced SQL querying and database validation.
• PowerShell scripting and connector integrations.
• Experience with AD/Entra ID integration.

• Segregation of Duties (Soda) and entitlement governance.
• Access certification and Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Relevant IAM certifications (e.g., One Identity Manager, CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading One Identity Manager implementation or upgrade projects.
• Application onboarding and data cleanup/remediation program experience.
• Participation in IAM transformation initiatives, ideally within financial services or insurance environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
