Job summary

Capitole is looking for an IAM Transformation Lead with 8+ years of IAM, information security, governance, or risk to join our team in Spain. You will own the end-to-end IAM program, including planning, onboarding, testing, go-live, and ongoing control improvements, while leading two business analysts and three integration engineers.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll define policies, manage risks and budgets, coordinate partners and vendors, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IAM, information security, governance, or risk, incl. ≥2 years in leadership
• Proven experience building an IAM or control function from the ground up
• End-to-end implementation of at least one IGA platform
• Experience coordinating with implementation partners, vendors, and mixed teams
• Strong programme and project management skills with budgeting and reporting
• Deep knowledge of identity lifecycle, role design, access reviews, and segregation of duties
• Experience in complex, federated, or multi-entity organisations
• English mandatory; Spanish & German are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Lead the IAM team of two business analysts and three integration engineers, setting priorities and maintaining high standards of delivery.
• Own the end-to-end implementation of the IGA platform, from planning and configuration through application onboarding, testing, and go-live.
• Manage programme scope, milestones, budget, risks, dependencies, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate the implementation partner, platform vendor, managed services, and internal teams.
• Define and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and the target operating model.
• Design and operate IAM controls, ensuring they run on schedule and produce audit-ready evidence.
• Manage IAM risks, exceptions, audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Define business roles, authorization concepts, access permissions, and segregation‑of‑duties rules.
• Drive adoption of the group IAM operating model across portfolio companies.
• Coordinate joiner, mover, and leaver processes with HR, service desk, and infrastructure teams.
• Define and track IAM KPIs and maturity metrics, and report IAM posture and progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in IAM, information security, governance, or risk, including at least 2 years in a leadership or ownership role.
• Proven experience building an IAM or control function from the ground up.
• Experience delivering at least one IGA platform implementation end to end.
• Experience managing implementation partners, vendors, and mixed teams of analysts and engineers.
• Strong programme and project management skills, including planning, milestones, budgets, risks, and stakeholder reporting.
• Deep knowledge of identity lifecycle processes, role and entitlement design, segregation of duties, access reviews, and privileged access.
• Experience working in complex, federated, or multi‑entity organisations.
• Ability to analyse large directory or application data sets and turn findings into practical recommendations or role models.
• Experience with regulatory and control frameworks, audits, and evidence requirements.
• English is mandatory; Spanish and German are a plus.

• The ability to explain IAM risks and priorities in business terms and gain support from senior stakeholders.
• A practical, analytical approach to access data, governance, and problem‑solving.
