Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a field-service focused professional to monitor and maintain power plant control systems. You will perform remote surveillance, on-site upgrades, and commissioning for modernization projects across Spain and international sites, collaborating with plant operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot and deliver reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes high availability, OT cybersecurity, and a scheduled H24 on-call rotation, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical diploma in automation, electrical, electronic, or computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial automation, power plant control systems, system administration, or field service.
• Knowledge of SPPA-T3000, SIMATIC PCS 7, WinCC OA, or TIA Portal.
• Familiarity with IT/OT infrastructure, virtualization, Windows Server environments, industrial networking, and OT cybersecurity.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for short- to medium-duration assignments in Spain and abroad, and to participate in a pre-scheduled H24 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain power plant control system infrastructure to ensure high operational availability, performance, and security compliance.
• Perform preventive and corrective field service, including detailed system checks, troubleshooting, and fault diagnostics at customer sites.
• Execute system installations, software updates, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery procedures both remotely and on-site.
• Support testing, commissioning, and modernization projects for industrial automation systems across Spain and international locations.
• Provide technical support to clients and prepare clear documentation, service reports, and maintenance logs.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and travel for short- to medium-duration field assignments to resolve critical service requests.
