Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an experienced IT/OT support engineer to join our global team in a dynamic, regulated environment. You will provide onsite support for thin clients, IPCs, lab equipment, and PLC/SCADA systems, ensuring uptime and compliance with ITIL processes.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/OT support, fluent English and Spanish, and readiness for on-call rotation. Join an international company delivering IT and engineering solutions across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years IT/OT support in regulated environments.
• Industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC, and lab software experience.
• Networking knowledge (VLAN, Firewall, Routing).
• ITIL processes; ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing.
• Database troubleshooting with MSSQL.
• Onsite support availability and 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month).
• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Criminal record check within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Onsite IT/OT support for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab equipment.
• Local hands-on support for global IT teams.
• Troubleshooting automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks).
• Support for software upgrades, patching, and backups in lab/OT environments.
• Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL-based).
• Compliance with CSV, GxP, and data integrity procedures.
• Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
