Senior React.js Developer for a leading services company in Barcelona, Spain

English and Spanish Required / Barcelona-based / Hybrid

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior React.js Developer to join their dynamic team. You would ideally have experience in React and React JS specializing in OMICS Pipeline development. This role requires proficiency in English and Spanish and offers a hybrid work model from Barcelona.

Main Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development using React and React JS.
• Have a strong background in OMICS Pipeline development and related technologies.
• Demonstrate experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Have experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Be familiar with Agile development methodologies.

Your Mission:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using React and React JS to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement OMICS Pipeline solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in the development and optimization of OMICS Pipelines.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews and following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the adoption of new technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in OMICS Pipeline development.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both Spanish and English.
• Ensure that all software solutions comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document software designs, development processes, and technical specifications.

Salary: up to 57,000 EUR (experience depending)
