Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid area seeks a Network & Security Engineer (CCN-STIC/ENS) to design, configure and manage LAN infrastructures and private networks. The role emphasizes security enforcement aligned with CCN-STIC guidelines and compliance with the EN National Security Framework, including network hardening and threat detection.

You will work at CLAEX/ Torrejón, supporting avionics upgrades and secure remote access, with collaboration across cybersecurity teams and maintenance

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Aeronautical or Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in administration and security of local and private networks.
• Solid knowledge and practical application of CCN-STIC guidelines and courses.
• Experience in environments regulated by the National Security Framework (ENS).
• Certifications such as CCN-CERT STIC, CCNA, CCNP Security are valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and administer LAN infrastructures (switches, routers, VLANs, STP).
• Manage private networks (IPSec VPNs, SSL/TLS, secure tunnels).
• Implement and maintain security measures per CCN-STIC guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with the National Security Framework (ENS).
• Hardening of network equipment, traffic monitoring, firewall management, threat detection.
• Support network segmentation projects and secure remote access.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and maintain MaTE test systems.
