Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid area seeks a Network & Security Engineer to design, configure and govern LAN and private networks with emphasis on CCN-STIC and ENS compliance. The role includes hardening, monitoring, and collaboration with cybersecurity teams across laboratories and Rigs.

You will contribute to secure remote access projects, audits, and maintenance of the MaTE Test Support System, working within a high-security environment and potential NATO-related clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, Aeronautical or Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in administration and security of local and private networks.
• Solid knowledge of CCN-STIC guidelines and courses.
• Experience in environments regulated by the National Security Framework (ENS).
• Certifications such as CCN-CERT STIC, CCNA, CCNP Security, or similar are valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and administer local area networks and private networks (IPSec VPNs, SSL/TLS, secure tunnels).
• Implement and maintain security measures per CCN-STIC guidelines (network infrastructure security, segmentation, access control).
• Ensure compliance with the National Security Framework (ENS) for medium/high-category information systems.
• Hardening of network equipment, traffic monitoring, firewall management, and threat detection.
• Participate in network segmentation projects and secure remote access; CCN-STIC audits.
• Provide advanced technical support and collaborate with cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain the Test Support System MaTE in laboratories/rigs.
