UST España & Latam is seeking a Mid Java Developer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Java applications. You will build RESTful services, integrate distributed components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires strong Java expertise, experience with the full SDLC, and familiarity with messaging systems and Kafka. Madrid-based hybrid work with onsite and remote options is offered.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience as a Java Developer working on enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem, software engineering best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Strong experience working with Oracle Database and SQL development.
• Experience with enterprise messaging, queuing, or event-streaming technologies.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka is highly valued.
• Experience with IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ), RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns, message-driven architectures, and distributed systems integration.
• Proven experience in testing activities, including Functional, Integration, Acceptance, Mock-up testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful web services and distributed system components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Design, create, and execute functional, integration, acceptance, and mock‑up testing.
• Analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs.
