eDreams ODIGEO is seeking a DBA System Engineer to join the Data Experience (GITOPS) team in Barcelona, operating in a hybrid model. You will act as a bridge between data infrastructure, architecture and development, selecting optimal data persistence solutions and automating database operations.

Key requirements include 5+ years in critical DB environments, PostgreSQL expertise, cloud experience and proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in critical DB environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and knowledge of other DB technologies is a plus.
• Proficient in CI/CD automation and devOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (GCP preferred).
• Ability to collaborate with developers, IT teams and architects.

Responsabilidades

• Be the link between data infrastructure, architecture and development teams.
• Choose the best technology to persist application data.
• Define procedures to operate databases, including automation and tool creation.
• Ensure data resources are assigned for project development.
• Guarantee solutions are scalable, efficient and maintainable globally.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database issues with minimal production impact.
• Tune data access and detect bottlenecks in data consumption.
• Support developers on database access, security, automation and best practices.
