  • Manage the (outsourced) payroll process for Spain & Portugal, covering multiple legal entities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and proper payroll record maintenance.
  • Keep GEA’s global and local policies up to date and integrated into the payroll process.
  • Work closely with local HRBPs and our central HR resource center in Berlin on daily tasks and provide support for projects.
  • Ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, and applicable social security contributions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries, escalating questions and concerns when necessary.
  • Serve as a responsible backup in case of absences.

Your profile and qualifications :

  • University degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, Workday, and various HR systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
