Job Description: Human Factors Engineering is responsible for the holistic development of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for all relevant operators' workstations within Military Air platforms, such as cockpits, flight decks, mission consoles, and ground control stations. The design aims at creating optimal interfaces between people and their activities using advanced technologies, user interface principles, and validation methodologies including prototyping. Contributions also include safety demonstration and certification of system aspects, applying engineering and user interface design knowledge throughout the product lifecycle. Key competencies include System Engineering, Human-Machine Interaction, User Interface/Interaction, User Experience, and Software Ergonomics.
