Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid, Spain seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities for Germany. Primarily responsible for statistical programming and data analysis in HTA contexts, with collaboration across Market Access, HEOR, and Medical Affairs teams.

The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with a strong interest in translating clinical evidence into reimbursement decisions, and requires fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute) and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and the CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Perform scientific assessment and analysis of clinical trial data, including analysis of efficacy, safety, and patient-relevant endpoints.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of statistical outputs.
• Contribute to automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
