Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced HTA Programmer (SAS & R) to support German AMNOG dossiers and market access activities from Madrid, Spain. The role focuses on statistical programming and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a health-tech environment.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s/PhD in biostatistics or data science, with >2 years in SAS programming and SDTM/ADaM datasets, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to translate data into clear outputs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes; monitor HTA developments.
