Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. The role emphasizes statistical programming and data science for AMNOG dossiers, working with cross-functional teams across Europe.

The position is remote/hybrid from Madrid, Spain. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s/PhD in biostatistics or data science, with HTA/HEOR exposure and strong SAS/R skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry/consulting/research) preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical analyses for German AMNOG dossiers, especially Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety and endpoints.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure quality and clarity of generated outputs.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA, and HTA bodies.
