Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based role (remote/hybrid) in Madrid. You will support health technology assessment (AMNOG) activities and perform statistical programming, data analysis, and reporting for German dossiers.

This position suits biostatisticians or data scientists with strong coding skills in SAS, R, and CDISC standards, working closely with Market Access and HEOR teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial HTA/AMNOG/HEOR/Market Access experience preferred (industry, consultancy, or research institute).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC standards SDTM/ADaM.
• Familiarity with German AMNOG process IQWiG/G-BA procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of German AMNOG dossiers with emphasis on programming of analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of outputs.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA, and HTA bodies.
