Job summary

IQVIA seeks a skilled Programmer (SAS & R) with German for Spain-based hybrid/remote work in Madrid. The role supports health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access decisions, applying statistical programming to clinical data and ensuring rigorous, auditable outputs.

Ideal candidates are biostatisticians or data scientists with interests in reimbursement and HTA workflows. The position emphasizes SDTM/ADaM data handling, German language proficiency, and collaboration with EU-HTA teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred) and/or in clinical development.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
Perform analysis of clinical trial data including efficacy, safety, endpoints and subgroup analyses.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs.
Contribute to automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies.
