Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based role open to remote/hybrid work. The successful candidate will support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany, focusing on statistical programming and analysis of clinical data.

Ideal applicants have biostatistics or data science backgrounds with experience in HTA/AMNOG and CDISC standards. Strong German and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute) and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming analyses for Module 4.
• Perform scientific assessment and analysis of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs.
• Contribute to the automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of outputs.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
