Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based role (remote/hybrid) to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany.

The ideal candidate is a biostatistician or data scientist with strong statistical programming skills and a keen interest in applying clinical evidence to reimbursement decisions. A substantial portion involves programming and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers with programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
