Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for Spain-based remote/hybrid work. The role focuses on statistical programming to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access decisions in Germany.

Ideal for biostatisticians or data scientists with an interest in clinical evidence and reimbursement decisions. The candidate will develop AMNOG dossiers, analyze trial data, and collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred).
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with German AMNOG processes, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on statistical analyses for Module 4.
Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
