Hitachi Energy is looking for a Factory HSE Specialist to join our Zaragoza´s Site. How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Conduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards effectively.
  • Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Develop and coordinate impactful HSE training sessions to enhance employee awareness and compliance.
  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents and devise corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Collaborate with departments to integrate HSE considerations into daily business operations seamlessly.
  • Regularly assess HSE performance indicators and prepare detailed reports to highlight trends and improvements.
  • Design and execute effective emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness and resilience.

Your background

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles within the industrial or energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing effective control measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Ability to analyze HSE performance data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and engage employees in HSE practices effectively.
  • Ability to drive behavioral change and promote a culture of health, safety and environmental responsibility.
