HSE Project Manager for LNG / Refinery Operations

Location : Germany

Project Duration : 30 months

We are looking for an experienced HSE Project Manager to join our team in a large-scale industrial construction project within the LNG or refinery sector . The selected candidate will lead and coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment management on-site, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations and corporate HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as the main point of contact for HSE matters on-site, reporting directly to the Site Manager.

Lead the HSE team and supervise deputy HSE managers.

Ensure full compliance with the NI Health & Safety Management System by all personnel involved in the project, including subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors.

Promote a strong safety culture based on the belief that "all accidents are preventable."

Coordinate HSE activities between all contractors to eliminate risks and conflicts.

Conduct audits, manage incident investigations, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.

Keep the HSE Plan updated in line with the project's progress and regulatory changes.

Ensure proper training and awareness programs are in place for health, safety, and environmental matters.

Maintain and supervise all HSE documentation, reports, and statistics.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, with additional professional qualifications in HSE Management Systems.

12+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment in industrial projects (preferably in LNG or refinery operations).

Deep knowledge of ISO 14001 : 2004 and OHSAS 18001 .

Experience with HSE auditing, incident investigation tools, environmental discharges, and ICS (Incident Command System).
