ABB Motion Spain busca un/a HSE & Sustainability Manager para liderar la estrategia de seguridad, salud y sostenibilidad a nivel nacional. Liderarás el equipo de HSE Specialists y colaborarás estrechamente con la dirección para promover una cultura de prevención basada en KPIs y buenas prácticas.

El puesto requiere experiencia suficiente para gestionar contratistas, coordinación de actividades y cumplimiento de ISO 45001/14001, con fluidez en español e inglés, y disponibilidad para trabajar en

Formación

• Maestría oficial en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL), como mínimo dos especialidades preventivas.
• Formación adicional en Sostenibilidad/ESG, ISO 14001/45001 o auditoría de sistemas de gestión o metodologías de análisis de causa raíz.
• Más de 10 años de experiencia en roles de gestión HSE y dirección de equipos.
• Experiencia directa en gestión de contratistas y coordinación de actividades en obras y entornos de clientes.
• Capacidad de combinar experiencia práctica con visión estratégica y toma de decisiones basada en KPIs.
• Fluidez en inglés y español es imprescindible.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar el equipo de HSE Specialists de Motion Spain y participar en el Servicio de Prevención Ajeno (SPP).
• Diseñar e implementar la estrategia global de HSE y Sostenibilidad para Motion, alineada con directrices del ABB Group.
• Supervisar identificación, evaluación y mitigación de riesgos críticos en talleres, proyectos y servicios en campo.
• Conducir iniciativas de ESG, decarbonización y eficiencia energética con monitorización de indicadores.
• Asegurar cumplimiento normativo en España y mantenimiento de sistemas ISO 45001/14001.
• Fomentar la transformación digital y el uso de herramientas software para mejorar procesos.

Your Role And Responsibilities

At ABB, we believe that health, safety, the environment and sustainability are fundamental pillars for ensuring the long-term success of our business. We are seeking an HSE & Sustainability Manager for ABB Motion Spain to lead our strategy in these areas, foster a high-performance safety culture and promote continuous improvement across all our operations nationwide (covering Service, projects, workshops, sales and offices).

In this strategic and operational leadership role, you will play an active part in ABB Spain's Internal Prevention Service (SPP) and will be directly responsible for leading and developing Motion's HSE Specialist team. You will work closely with the management team, business leaders, project managers, field teams, contractors and customers to ensure strict legal compliance, mitigate critical risks and strengthen a prevention culture in which safety and sustainability guide every business decision.

Reporting to the Motion Spain management team, you will actively contribute to developing the business strategy and will also participate in ABB's global and regional HSE network.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• SPP Leadership and People Management: Lead, coordinate and directly develop Motion's HSE Specialist team while playing an active role in the SPP.
• Strategic Leadership and HSE Culture: Design, implement and adapt the global HSE and Sustainability strategy for the Motion division, aligning it with ABB Group guidelines and acting as the primary strategic partner, adviser and technical authority within the Management Committee to promote a culture based on visible leadership.
• Risk Management and Operational Safety: Oversee the identification, assessment and mitigation of critical risks in workshops, engineering projects and field services; drive excellence in electrical safety in accordance with applicable regulations; and lead systematic incident investigations to ensure root-cause analysis and the deployment of lessons learned.
• Environment, Sustainability and ESG: Lead projects focused on decarbonisation, energy efficiency and reducing the environmental footprint across all business workplaces, supporting ABB Group's corporate ESG commitments through rigorous monitoring and reporting of key sustainability indicators.
• Regulatory Compliance and Management Systems: Ensure that all activities strictly comply with Spanish occupational health and safety and environmental legislation; maintain and effectively integrate systems certified to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; and act as the primary liaison with labour inspectorates, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Digital Transformation and Innovation: Promote the active adoption of software tools, advanced data analytics and disruptive technology solutions for prevention, with the aim of simplifying field-team workflows, optimising document management and enabling strategic decisions based on reliable data.

Qualifications For The Role

• Official Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), mandatorily covering at least two of the three preventive specializations.
• Further training in Sustainability/ESG, ISO 14001/45001 management-system auditing or root-cause analysis methodologies would be valued.
• More than 10 years of proven professional experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management roles, directly leading and managing teams.
• Direct experience in contractor management, coordination of business activities (CAE) and safety during complex work at customer sites.
• Ability to combine strong practical, field-based experience with a long-term strategic business perspective, translating risk management into value propositions for the company.
• Excellent communication and multi-stakeholder management skill, as well as, commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making based on KPIs.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish are a must.
