Overview

Job Title: Experienced HR Manager

We are a fast-growing scale-up in the fight against financial crime. Our mission is to protect the global financial system by verifying millions of identities for leading names in FinTech, Crypto, and trading platforms. Our office houses over 100 colleagues from more than 50 nationalities. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR operations and report directly to the VP of People.

About the Role

This broad role covers various aspects of HR management, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all People operations in the office, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to the People Operations Coordinator.
  • Run a monthly payroll process and review mutations with support from the specialist.
  • Support managers and employees with HR-related queries and provide strategic advice.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with external parties, such as labour lawyers, payroll vendors, benefits providers, and social security and tax authorities.
  • Implement HR policies and initiatives following HQ and overall business strategy.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and lead initiatives to improve employee engagement.
Requirements
  • We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with extensive knowledge of HR best practices and labour law. You should have a proven track record in running payroll processes, working with Works Councils, and relocating employees.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with high-level thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
