As an Assistant Manager Front Office, you are responsible for the efficient running of the department in accordance with Hyatt corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting colleague, guest, and owner expectations. You are expected to effectively manage the day-to-day operation and lead the team resourcefully to achieve departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that the guest registration, checkout, and mail services are handled efficiently, promptly and courteously in accordance with the hotel’s policy and procedures.
  • Manage and maximize occupancy, revenue, and average rate while maintaining high service standards via the up-selling programs within the department.
  • Effectively handle all guest complaints and implement long-term solutions where possible. Follow up on any outstanding issues and ensure service recovery is provided.
  • Review guest feedback from different platforms. Drive outstanding results from online channels by reviewing current service standards and implementing new initiatives when necessary.
  • Initiate the implementation of new Front Office Standards & Procedures in keeping with brand direction.
  • Conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career paths.
  • Perform ad-hoc job tasks assigned by the hotel management.

Qualifications :

  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Front Office Manager or 4-5 years of Assistant Manager - Front Office / Guest Relations in a hotel.
  • Good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills; motivational leader and English language skills are a must.
  • Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
