With direct report The India HR Director, the India HR Manager is located in India (Chenai) and responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of HR operations, including Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, International and Domestic Mobility, Labour Compliance, Personnel Administration, and HRMS. This role manages and ensures the smooth execution of HR policies, regulatory compliance, and seamless HR service delivery to support business objectives.

Additionally, this role will lead and coordinate a team of 15 HR professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security, and other statutory obligations. Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to address payroll-related concerns. Oversee the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans and that Disciplinary matters are properly handled. Oversee employee mobility programs, including international assignments, visa processing, and expatriate management. Ensure compliance with local and international immigration laws and mobility policies. Ensure HR policies comply with Indian labor laws and global corporate standards.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR administrative functions, including employee records, HR documentation, and policy updates. Oversee HR support services such as onboarding, exit formalities, and employee lifecycle management.
  • HRMS & Digital Transformation: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRMS solutions for seamless HR operations. Leverage HR technology to automate processes, enhance reporting, and improve data accuracy. Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate digital HR tools for efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll management, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in HRMS and digital HR tools.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree at Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources,
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience
  • Experience in managing multi-location HR operations in a multinational environment preferred.
  • Indian Local contract through our India TR Branch Chenai.
