We are looking for an HR Country Representative for Iberia. Reporting to Head of HR Country Services Iberia, you will, together with your colleagues be responsible for country specific HR support : labour law, government relation, local reward, local policies, industrial relations.

You will work closely with business leaders and different HR stakeholders and participate in all local HR activities in these areas. HR Service Centre organisations are delivering operational HR services to the region and your successful cooperation with these teams will therefore be of high importance. This role is an office based permanent position and is based in Arganda del Rey, Spain.

What you will do

As HR Country Representative you will :

  • Manage relations with unions
  • Provide support in local reward issues and guaranteeing the quality and application of local benefits
  • Propose and drive modifications of local country policies
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the team
  • Support managers with individual employees’ cases

We believe you have

The successful candidate is an HR professional with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You possess deep expertise in labour law and have previous experience in multinational environment. You are an excellent negotiator with resilience and a focus on delivering mutually beneficial solutions. You have good business understanding, and have successfully built relationships with internal clients, colleagues, councils and authorities in your current or previous work experience. Furthermore, you have a high level of integrity and autonomy, willing to take the lead, prioritise and plan. Your communication skills are strong, and you are comfortable working across functions and levels. Also, you are experienced in and comfortable with taking tougher discussions on both individual and organisational levels.

You have a university degree in Labour Law, Psychology, Business or related area and are fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
