Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Nobu Hotel, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations of the department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance. Your mission will be to ensure that every stay reflects the excellence of Nobu through strategic team and resource management, as well as flawless execution of every operational detail.

Responsibilities :

• Room Supervision : Inspect assigned rooms daily (arrivals, stays, and departures) to ensure compliance with Nobu’s standards of cleanliness, order, presentation, amenities, and equipment.
• Resource Management : Ensure the team has the necessary inventory of cleaning products, linen, and amenities. Monitor stock levels (minimum and maximum) and identify needs in a timely manner.
• Maintenance and Quality : Detect and report technical or maintenance issues in rooms and service areas. Manage incident reports using the Hub OS system and follow up on their resolution.
• Material Care : Ensure proper use and maintenance of work materials and uniforms by housekeeping staff and valets.
• Operational Support : Actively participate in daily operations, including opening and closing shifts as required. Provide support in managing VIP stays with special requirements, ensuring every detail is taken care of while respecting guest preferences.
• Interdepartmental Coordination : Work closely with Front Desk to coordinate room changes, early departures, stay extensions, or other special guest requests.
• Pantry Quality Control : Supervise that floor pantries and hallways are tidy, well-stocked, and in optimal condition to support the team's work.
• Linen Management : Be familiar with the hotel’s guest laundry process, ensuring all items are delivered and returned with maximum discretion and care.
• Training and Leadership : Promote continuous training within the team, ensuring knowledge and adherence to Nobu standards. Evaluate performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Monthly Closing : Contribute to the department’s monthly analysis and report, including productivity review, project tracking, and improvement proposals.

Requirements :

• Minimum Education : Secondary school certificate or equivalent. Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in luxury or lifestyle hotels.
• Communication : Fluent Spanish is essential, along with at least an intermediate-high level of English, both spoken and written. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in both languages with guests and team members will be highly valued.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel and email communication. Ability to manage information, create reports, and communicate efficiently in digital environments. Knowledge of hotel management systems such as Hub OS and Opera is a plus.
• Competencies : Highly committed to excellence, with strong organizational skills, meticulousness, and exceptional attention to detail. Able to remain calm in dynamic environments, with effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills and a respectful, empathetic attitude. Displays a positive leadership style, promotes teamwork, efficiently manages conflicts and complaints, and ensures that every interaction and space reflect Nobu’s highest brand standards.
