Nordic Unique Travels is a prominent travel company based in Rovaniemi, Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland—covering Finland, North Norway, and Sweden. Currently, we offer more than 100 tours and holiday packages within the Arctic Circle. We are seeking a hotel manager to join our team at the new Aito Igloo & Spa Resort, which will be one of the top luxury hotels and a stunning getaway to explore the unique landscape of Lapland. Our goal is to deliver exceptional experiences and comfort to our guests while valuing planetary sustainability.

- Duration of the contract: We are interested in candidates seeking a long-term position, starting with a 6-month contract from August 2025, with high potential for extension.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in managing or establishing a hotel from scratch.
- At least 3 years of hotel management or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management practices and data entry software.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Leadership qualities with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish, French, or Italian is a plus.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and registering guests.
- Supervising staff including receptionists, kitchen staff, and administrative personnel.
- Monitoring staff performance and conducting evaluations to improve service quality.
- Managing payments, budgets, and financial records.
- Resolving service, amenities, and policy issues.
- Organizing activities and delegating responsibilities.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Coordinating with suppliers, travel agencies, and event planners.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handling financial activities such as setting room rates and budgets.
- Creating strategic marketing plans for the luxury hotel sector.
