At IQVIA, we are looking for a Hospital Coding Management Technician, responsible for ensuring that patient clinical information is accurately coded, organized, and utilized for administrative, financial, and strategic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and management of clinical coding projects using ICD-10 across various hospital centers we collaborate with, ensuring compliance with quality standards and established deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in ICD-10 coding processes for medical records, promoting standardization and efficiency in healthcare documentation.
• Conduct systematic audits of coding processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with current regulations.
• Perform clinical episode coding using the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10), applied to various healthcare settings such as inpatient care, major outpatient surgery (MOS), day hospitals, emergency services, outpatient consultations, among others.
• Prepare analytical reports and detailed statistics based on coded data to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other professionals and departments, fostering a multidisciplinary and results-oriented work environment.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with clients to become their preferred partner in the coding area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree as a Specialist Technician in Health Documentation, with proven experience of more than three years using the ICD-10-ES classification.
• Strong technical skills and project management capabilities, with the ability to lead teams and initiatives effectively.
• Presentation skills for client-facing scenarios – including project results and commercial proposals.
• Critical thinking for process improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and health sciences.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies applied to the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in IT tools, especially Microsoft Office at an advanced level.
• Experience with various coding tools currently available in the market will be positively valued.
• Catalan and English are required
